From personal advisers to principal youth officers, everyone seems to be at it.
Come to think of it, there are quite a few parallels. Pick a good course and you'll get good food, interesting company and some very pleasant surroundings.
And unlike your favourite restaurant or club, you'll hopefully learn something as well as getting paid.
I can't remember a time when so many people were doing so much training.
Even I'm at it. I've just finished my Transforming Youth Work Management Training. And apart from a very sore shoulder from lugging all the course materials across London, I've really enjoyed it. Eight days was a bit of a marathon but it's been well worth the effort.
