I've just come back from a conference where I was in charge of a curtain. Well, two of them actually. It was my job to close the curtains.
And then open them again. I know what you're thinking. How did he cope with all that responsibility? I admit it was tough. But at least I wasn't on laptop duty.
You see, this wasn't an ordinary conference, this was an event organised to celebrate the huge contribution young people can make to policymaking and organisational development if they are just given the opportunity.
The conference workshops were delivered by young people themselves and featured some excellent examples of projects and initiatives where young people are making a real difference to their community.
