Decisions, decisions, decisions. My job is full of them. Thankfully most of them are straightforward enough.
But from time to time I have to make some really difficult decisions.
And the toughest ones by far concern recruitment. After just a few hours of interviewing people who are often complete strangers you have to decide which person you want to work with for the next few years. And which ones you don't.
But if I thought recruitment decisions were hard enough already, they just got a whole lot harder. You see, I've been involved in a panel interviewing young people who want to come and work for us.
