We were setting up a new project involving a large group of young people who hadn't met before. Some were coming in groups, some as individuals, some from inner cities, some from rural areas. We needed bonding time, and the question was how to achieve this.
Instead of spending a weekend in Outer Pantsville Youth Hostel, we opted for an evening session followed by a night in a bed and breakfast, with an activities workshop the next day. Surely that was better than an outdated gung-ho experience?
