I take my role on the management board seriously because it's my chance to speak up for young people who use the service. We have to make sure young people get as many opportunities to improve their lives as possible. At first the board meetings were nerve-racking, but all the other members are really friendly and I feel more confident now.
I want to change some of the negative stereotypes and perceptions about young people. You only hear about young people in the press when there's a stabbing or shooting. That creates a criminal mindset. I want to promote positivity.
I'm studying to become an electrician and I also enjoy photography. I want to help other young people see that anything is possible if they put their minds to it.
