Graham Hollowell, deputy chief executive of Connexions Coventry and Warwickshire, will share the secondment with Sue Reed, director of partnership development at Connexions Bedfordshire and Luton. Each will be based at the department's Sheffield office for part of the week.
The role, which started on 1 September, involves both secondees working with government offices, Connexions partnerships and local authorities.
"We want to get out and visit organisations with good practice, as well as identify issues and problems," said Hollowell.
