How did you meet?
Michelle: "Ashleigh came of her own accord to one of our sports sessions. It was clear she had some anger-management issues and she had been given an Asbo for misbehaving, so I began to work through those with her."
Ashleigh: "One night I was out with my mates and the youth club had opened not long before so we went to see what it was like. Michelle was there, and that's when I started to get involved."
What did you do during the sessions?
Michelle: "Ashleigh started attending our weekly sports-based and issue-based sessions. In the issue-based sessions we worked through things such as drugs and alcohol in workshops and other practical work."
