A centrepiece of the campaign, called The Teen Speech, is a documentary to be broadcast online on Christmas Day featuring the views of 100 teenagers from London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Belfast.
The film will be featured on YouTube's front page on the day as well as through MySpace. Issues to be addressed include child poverty and sexual exploitation of children.
The campaign also features daily polls on MySpace and the launch of a dedicated website to promote young people's blogs.
Barnardo's chief executive Martin Narey said: "We want to listen to what young people think themselves about issues that are important both to them and to adults.
