Live broadcast to enable young people to showcase presenting skills

1 min read Youth Work
A live online broadcast packed with celebrity appearances will be aired today (Thursday 18 March) at 4pm as part of a youth-led campaign intended to dispel negative perceptions of young people and highlight examples of youth leadership.

The Youth of Today Show will feature celebrity business guru Alan Sugar, actor Michael Caine and radio presenter Chris Evans among others.

Created and developed by young people involved in the government-funded Youth of Today campaign, the show has also been made in partnership with the Prince's Trust. It will give the participants a chance to showcase their live presenting skills and tell their own stories.

Adam Nichols, chief executive of charity Changemakers, which supports the programme, said: "We know young people do amazing things everyday — but all too often they get overlooked. This broadcast will showcase the outstanding skills and talents of young people growing up in England today, inspiring others along the way."
