East Sussex has made impressive strides in securing placement stability for its looked-after children.

2005 England 13.6% East Sussex 12.1%

2006 England 13.1% East Sussex 11.3%

2007 England 12.2% East Sussex 8.5%

2008 England 11.4% East Sussex 8.1%

East Sussex has made impressive strides in securing placement stability for its looked-after children.

In the year ending March 2004, 14.2 per cent of the council's looked-after children experienced three or more placement moves. This figure stood at 8.1 per cent in the year ending March 2008 and the most recent figures show that by March 2009 only 5.8 per cent had experienced multiple moves.
