The awards, which are now in their fifth year, highlight the fantastic work that youth groups and individuals do to promote young people in a fair and balanced way within their communities. They also recognise the work of media organisations that help to break down the stereotype of young people as "yobs".
More than 80 projects from across the country entered the awards this year.
Here, the winners talk about their projects and what they got out of taking part, providing young people and the media with a source of inspiration for their own projects in the future. There are also clips and examples of the winners’ work.
