Deadline looms for Positive Images Awards

1 min read Youth Work
The entry deadline for Children and Young People Now's Positive Images Awards has been extended to Tuesday 4 May.

Applicants from youth groups and media organisations now have until after the May bank holiday weekend to submit entries, which could see them win national recognition for work that portrays young people in a positive light.

The Positive Images Awards exist to encourage a more balanced approach to reporting stories about young people in the media.

Categories open to the media include best local media coverage of young people, best national media coverage of young people and best radio coverage. Categories for youth groups include best interactive media by young people, best broadcast created by young people and best achievement by a young person in promoting positive media portrayal.
