PE is very important, especially now that children are eating more junk food than ever before. It is the only subject in schools where this problem can be overcome and the children will therefore keep themselves more fit than they would be if they chucked the subject down the drain. We need to ensure pupils have a much wider knowledge of PE activities to enable them to understand how vital fitness is to living a healthy life. I would make sure children attended at least two out of three lessons of PE per week.
After-school clubs should also be well advertised so the pupils know exactly what sport they can attend. I would make sure children have the best understanding of how important fitness is today.
