Adult learning

I would definitely turn the tables, so young people could teach older people. There's so many things young people know that older people need educating about. It would boost confidence amongst young people and show adults that we can teach them rather than them teaching us all the time.

I would like to introduce a class at school where all of the teachers are present and a different pupil every week chooses a subject to teach. We would also invite some of the parents so we'd have a really big class.

I am already a teacher and my class is full of older people, most of whom are over 60. Each week, I teach them how to use the internet in my Silver Surfer class.

I plan my lessons beforehand and focus on a particular topic each lesson and then go over it to make sure they have a full understanding. When they achieve something in the lesson, I reward them with a certificate.
