The latest round of the Integrated Education Fund's "Promoting a Culture of Trust" Pact programme was launched at Stormont yesterday in the presence of education minister Catriona Ruane.
The grant stream is open to all primary and secondary schools in Northern Ireland as well as many early year education providers. A £50,000 donation from Vodafone will support projects using music and sport to deliver cross-community school initiatives.
The chair of the IEF grants committee, Dorothee Wagner, said: "The aim of the programme is to promote the development of skills and relationships that enable schools, pupils, staff, governors and the wider community to increase their understanding, acceptance and respect for political, cultural and religious differences."
