
The chief executive of Bexley Council took over from previous chair Darra Singh in November last year, leaving him just 12 months of the board's two-year life span to make his mark.
The board was set up in November 2008 to improve the way agencies share information and work together, as knife crime and fear of serious violence in the capital reached its height.
Rather than being fazed by the prospect of the clock ticking down, Tuckley sees it as a positive.
"The board has a limited life span, which impresses me," he says. "We are looking at two years in total and we need to make an impact in that period."
