The new schools white paper raises expectations of what we can expect from schools to deliver opportunity for all. It sits alongside a new national youth guarantee for youth work and out-of-school activities, supporting skills for life and work, and mental and physical wellbeing. Key will be the level of young people’s engagement. Our new inquiry will look at the range of provision and collaboration of youth work with schools.
