The organisations will be responsible for handing out nearly £150,000 to young people to fulfil small, community-based projects. The grants are worth £300, with a percentage able to apply for a Think Bigger O2 grant, worth £2,500.
Over the next two years Urdd Gobaith Cymru, Youth Cymru and O2 Think Big aim to work on approximately 300 community projects. Other youth partners will be working across England and Wales to provide further opportunities to young people.
Helen Parker, O2 community manager, said: "We're delighted to have these two great organisations on board as Think Big youth partners. Think Big is designed to empower young people to lead community projects but for that to happen young people need support and expertise. This is why we have engaged a network of youth organisations at a national and local level that get guaranteed funding for the young people they work with as well as further support from O2 and the Think Big team."
