The Council for Disabled Children's young ambassadors have produced a film called Young, Disabled and In Control. Launched at an event at Channel 4 on 10 November, the film challenges stereotypes and shows the positive impact young disabled people have when they are involved in decisions about their lives.
As one of the ambassadors said: "We want to make sure that no-one is treated differently because of their disability and we want all disabled young people to have more control in their lives."
