The area includes information on disabled children and young people's participation, focusing on children's legal rights. There are also a number of resources that practitioners can use to enable them to involve disabled children and young people.
On the website, there is information about a three-year project being led by a partnership of the NCB Research Centre, The Council for Disabled Children, the Alliance for Inclusive Education and the Children's Society, which is exploring the most effective ways of enabling the participation of disabled children and young people in the development of services.
Also highlighted is the Making Ourselves Heard network that shares resources exploring disabled children's participation and the Transition Information Network, a network of organisations and individuals with the aim of improving the experience of disabled young people's transition into adulthood.
The area will also be used to house case studies of best practice. Practitioners are invited to submit examples to be showcased by completing a case study template.
