Early Support training is a mechanism for achieving better co-ordinated, family-focused services for young disabled children and their families. Children in Wales leads the partnership of voluntary organisations commissioned by the Welsh Assembly Government to roll out the Early Support programme across Wales.
Early Support currently provides a range of courses to parents, practitioners and managers. The training is all delivered free of charge. Some of the training is accredited and results in a qualification. Early Support is also looking for people who have attended the courses to train to be trainers themselves and deliver Early Support in their local area.
