Children in Wales's 2011/12 training programme is now available. It includes a range of multi-disciplinary courses for those working in the statutory, voluntary and independent sectors. The courses reflect the Welsh context and the increasing divergence from policy in England.
The programme includes courses on topics including children's rights, child poverty and safeguarding.
There are also courses relating to child and adolescent mental health, and parental mental health and its impact on children. These courses are being delivered by Young Minds, with subsidised places thanks to a donation from the Waterloo Foundation.
