Children’s charity 4Children has launched a new website to support its Make Space campaign. The site is designed to support youth clubs to provide exciting activities for young people. It includes advice on how to access funding opportunities for positive activities and promote successes. Users will be able to download podcasts and take part in online polls and surveys. www.makespace.org.uk.

 

Celebrities from the world of football, sport and politics have joined more than 200 young people from the most deprived communities in the UK for the first Kickz Awards at Wembley stadium. The Kickz programme uses football to work with young people in challenging areas to promote safer communities. To recognise the achievements of all the young people in the scheme, one young person from every branch of the project received an award.
