Matthew Green, spokesman for young people, said the party backed many of the points raised in the manifesto, which was based on feedback from Young People Now's Joining Up conference in June.
In particular, he said that both the children's commissioner and children's trusts should be renamed to include the words "young people".
The only point he took issue with was the provision of ring-fenced funding for youth services, since the party wants to give local authorities more power to raise money and spend it where they believe it is needed most.
A Liberal Democrat government would also lower the voting age to 16, he said.
