1 min read
Which celebrities do young people look up to? Youth media agency Headliners put this question to young people in Bexley, Greater London, but found they struggled to reply. Faye Wheatley, 16, from Thamesmead, said she admired Catherine Zeta-Jones because she is "stunning" and "curvy". But movie star Bruce Willis got her vote as the worst role model because "he dates people younger than his daughter".

What happens when you mix teenagers and booze? They end up doing things they regret. Exposure magazine reporter Emma Burridge discovers excessive drinking has been proven to stimulate sexual feelings, making teens more likely to engage in risky sexual activity. And that girls are at particular risk of being exploited. "Some boys will take advantage of a girl who is wasted. A harsh reality, but something we need to be aware of."

The latest issue looks at how "food, mood and an active life can improve people's mental health" and includes top tips on group sports to try, as well as diet. But it's not all fruit and veg. It's fine to have some chocolate as it "triggers something in your brain that releases love hormones that make you feel happy".
