The "Speed Meet" was organised like speed dating, with pairs of young people getting a few minutes to share their thoughts with policymakers.
Claire Quinn, 15, from Bulwell, said it was useful: "They gave us some good information."
Tom Sackville, assistant director at Crime Concern, said the event had gone well, and lots of the young people had arranged to have further discussions.
