The aim is to persuade young people not to carry offensive weapons, including knives, in memory of the 10-year-old who bled to death after being stabbed in the leg with broken glass in Peckham, south London.
Young people will be asked to commit themselves to the "Respect Your Life Not A Knife" campaign by signing pieces of paper on "pledge walls" promising to shun weapons.
The campaign is being organised by the Damilola Taylor Trust and several government agencies and departments including the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and the Department for Education and Skills.
Bob Ashford, head of prevention at the YJB, said: "I am optimistic this campaign will make a difference."
