Newham Youth Inclusion Programme has been running a project based on the BBC TV programme The Apprentice.

In the TV show, candidates compete in a series of tasks with the aim of convincing Amstrad boss Alan Sugar to give one of them a job with a six-figure salary.

In the Newham version, about 15 young people were divided into three groups and given various youth work tasks, such as designing workshops on health, or running an evening at a centre.
