Rob Allen, director of the International Centre for Prison Studies, King's College, London, and Sir Charles Pollard, chairman of the Justice Research Consortium, leave the board when their terms end on 30 September. But Dr Theodore Mutale, consultant child and adolescent forensic psychiatrist at the Michael Rutter Centre, part of the Maudsley Hospital, London, has agreed to stay on until replacement members can be found.
