The Department for Education and Skills (DfES) has sent the 15 "phase one" partnerships detailed research from the latest part of a customer satisfaction survey carried out by BMRB Research, but has refused to make the data widely available.
One partnership said it believed the Government was sitting on the figures because of its green paper plans.
The figures show 70 per cent of young people believe Connexions has "a lot to offer" and 93 per cent are either very satisfied or fairly satisfied with it.
Last week Anne Weinstock, director of the DfES supporting children and young people group, wrote to the chief executives of all Connexions partnerships saying policy for the youth green paper was "still evolving".
