Youth club reopens in north London

A youth club in Stamford Hill, Hackney, is to reopen this month after undergoing a 95,000 refurbishment.

The Guinness Estate Youth Club will be open to 11- to 19-year-olds everyTuesday and Thursday between 6pm and 9pm. It will provide a wide rangeof activities including arts and sports throughout the year.

Councillor Rita Krishna, head of children's services, said: "Thereopening of the club is good news, not just for the young people on theGuinness Estate but those from neighbouring estates. It will providemore things for young people to do."
