Sex education should definitely spend some time on different sexualities.I dont think it will help homophobia, as that is not caused by lack of awareness.However, it is important to cover it as gay and lesbian people have different needs

My personal and social education (PSE) lessons had little mention of homosexuality. It would be a start to discuss other sexualities in PSE, but it would be more beneficial to actively challenge the homophobic bullying that is far too common in schools
