Young to have more say in inspections

Ofsted has published plans to improve participation when the revised inspection system comes in later this year. The plans include a survey of 600 10- to 15-year-olds in schools in each area.

Young people who take part in the survey will get a summary of the results. A version of the review's findings written for children and young people will be distributed through the local director of children's services.
