The work will be carried out through a partnership with King's College London. The charity already has a partnership with York University in evaluating its runaways projects.
It works with 10 youth offending teams around the country offering a range of services.
Simon Hickson, policy adviser for youth justice, said: "There is a general lack of good quality evaluation. We will look at what works and what doesn't work to capture the knowledge and disseminate to the sector."
The evaluations will be funded either by the charity or by youth offending teams as part of the service.
