Young NCB: YNCB gets the lowdown on Aynsley-Green

In March 2005, Al Aynsley-Green was chosen to be the children's commissioner for England.

So what does Al do? He researches and promotes the views and needs ofchildren and young people, looks into any matter relating to theirinterests and wellbeing, and initiates inquiries on their behalf. Sixmembers of Young NCB spoke to him to find out more.

We asked Al what inspired him to become the children's commissioner.

He said he cared about children and has lots of experience. He has twodaughters and four grandchildren, and was a children's doctor for 32years. He described his job as the best in the world. Al also said itwas the most difficult job he'd ever done, but that he feels verymotivated.
