What was the highlight of the past week? Recently, I took four youngpeople from the project to London for the launch of Ormiston's latestreport, which describes the impact of our services for children with aparent in prison. Two children stood up to talk to the audience abouttheir own experiences, which was really great.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? When you have beenworking with a family and their situation improves; whether it is achild having more contact with their relative, or feeling happier andmore settled themselves.
What is the hardest aspect of your job? You can do lots to try toimprove the quality and frequency of contact for the children, butsometimes the person in prison doesn't wish for that to happen, forwhatever reason, and my influence can't change that.
