The scheme is the only one operating in Northern Ireland.
It gives young people a sounding board to discuss issues that might be troubling them and the opportunity to meet others with similar experiences.
Describe a typical day? It depends on what the young person has called you for. They may want advice and I go out and chat with them, usually in the evenings or at weekends as I do the work in my spare time. The main issues are around jealously - a child may find that their parents are spending a lot of time with a foster child and want reassurance that it's OK not to like the foster child or to be angry with their mum or dad.
