Youth charity Rainer has opened a computing suite and IT programme for young offenders in Sheffield thanks to a £20,000 grant from Abbey's charitable trust.
Young people in Wales have developed four creativity projects for 10- to 19-year-olds after being awarded £19,646 from the Make it Happen strand of the Young People's Fund.
The Big Lottery Fund has pledged £2.5m to 11 organisations to deliver programmes to help families learn together. Adults and children will be encouraged to take part in activities from science to circus skills.
