Thousands of young people in the London Borough of Brent will benefit from funding to develop new projects. Thirteen voluntary sector groups will receive £133,006 for projects starting on 1 October and lasting six months.
Venturesome, the social investment fund of the Charities Aid Foundation, and UnLtd, the foundation for social entrepreneurs, have given £220,000 to the Manchester-based social enterprise MOTIV CIC, which organises schemes to improve school attendance in the city.
