Up to 1,000 is available from Kellogg's' Active Living Fund for projects to get young people into physical activities. It is for groups with an income of less than 50,000. www.kelloggs.co.uk

Voluntary youth work projects can apply for grants of up to £7,000 from the Four Acre Trust. Applications will next be assessed in October. www.fouracretrust.org.uk

Mediabox, the government youth media fund, has given more than £485,000 in its latest round of grants. Eighteen groups received grants for projects involving film, videogames and websites. www.media-box.co.uk

Organisations that aim to reduce child suffering and deprivation can apply for funding from the Monica Rabagliati Charitable Trust. Last year it gave 13 grants totalling £60,000. www.rabagliati.org.uk.
