Work Wise: Funding briefs

- The Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival has received 26,400 from The Edinburgh Festival Expo Fund to create an international showcase of Scottish theatre for children and young people.

- The Big Lottery Fund has awarded £125,684 to First Step North East, a multi-racial project for women and young people that helps parents understand more about how their children learn.

- Tamba, the Twins and Multiple Births Association in Northern Ireland, has received £9,285 from Awards for All to hold a series of family events, produce a newsletter and organise a conference.

- The National Association for Gallery Education is seeking applications from projects for its youth arts programme, Watch this Space. Go to www.en-quire.org.
