The Children's Commissioner for Wales is looking for young people to man the advice line his office provides for children and young people in Wales.
The young volunteers will be able to relate to the issues callers are phoning about, and offer practical advice. They will also free up time for the adult advice and support officers to concentrate on more complex cases.
The commissioner wants to recruit 10 to 12 over-17s.
Ken Hinton, volunteer co-ordinator, said: "People volunteer for various reasons: to help, to do something different, to maintain or learn skills."
