Over two-and-a-half years, the grant will enable Exposure to continue its programme of informal learning opportunities to young people excluded from school, leaving care, offending or with learning difficulties.
Exposure, which produces a magazine of the same name, will provide media training, including writing, desktop publishing, magazine production, internet design and video editing.
Francesca Alphonso, Exposure's development officer, said: "It's great that central government is making grants available to voluntary projects, enabling us to thrive without local government red tape."
The Neighbourhood Support Fund is administered by The National Youth Agency.
