Voluntary sector: Annetts heads women's charity

1 min read

Annetts took up the role at the charity for disadvantaged young women last week. She was previously chief executive at Dignity in Dying, which campaigns for patient choice at the end of life. Before joining the voluntary sector, Annetts was a lawyer specialising in sexual discrimination cases and was a partner of human rights firm, Stephens Innocent.

Young women attending YWCA centres in Bristol, Doncaster, Northampton and Plymouth were involved in recruiting Annetts.

Annetts said: "I am looking forward to building on YWCA's reputation. All young women should get the right support and have the chance to create a better future for themselves."
