The high cost of train travel and antisocial behaviour on buses were among the issues raised by young people during a forum on transport, staged on the political education charity's Heads Up website.
One comment reads: "Me and my friends take the train a lot, so we can visit places further away from where we live, but it is so expensive that it's almost not worth going."
Other topics raised on the transport forum were airport expansion, climate change and car transport, and whether the legal driving age should be raised to 18.
The concerns have the support of John Leech MP, Liberal Democrat transport spokesman. He added: "What we need is a decent network of bus services complimenting, and integrated with, other public transport."
