Training: Young carers get help from charity

The charity is working in partnership with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers to provide the training based on the Government's Every Child Matters agenda. The Department for Education and Skills is funding the 600,000 project.

Lara Patel, assistant director at The Children's Society, said: "It's giving frontline providers the tools to ensure young carers are receiving all of the help and services they are entitled to."
