Crossroads is planning a photoshoot with young carers and actor Stephen Fry and an inter-faith service at Coventry Cathedral. Carers UK will host a Black carers' network event and also publish a briefing.
Clare Short, Labour MP for Birmingham Ladywood, is one of the MPs supporting the week. "Having been a carer, I understand how hard it is," said Short.
