Today's teenagers

I would get them all to realise that violence is not the solution to problems. If everyone were to walk away from a problem, they'd be the bigger person, but walking away isn't going to solve half of the problems you have with someone, and violence would just make matters worse.

My solution would be mediation; this means encouraging those that are in conflict to talk through the situation and to find a realistic solution that everyone agrees to. Mediation can change hundreds of lives. I would spread mediation to all schools and get teenagers trained to become mediators.

I am a mediator and never thought I'd be one, but since being one my life has changed and people have started noticing me more for what I do.

As a team we have won many awards, the most recent one was Southwark Council's Enough is Enough award for tackling antisocial behaviour.

Violence isn't the solution, never will be, never has been. Be a mediator, or try mediation. If I can do it, you can do it too; nothing is impossible.
