Time for Action: Equipping Young People for the Future and Preventing Violence.

Youth Justice
The Mayor of London is seeking feedback on his proposals for a programme of action to improve youth opportunities and prevent youth violence.

The programme aims to support the most vulnerable young people in London through six new projects. There is a focus on areas such as truancy, enhancing sporting and recreational activities and involving young people in shaping the public's perception of young people.

All six projects have been designed to reinforce one another and provide assistance to young people during transitional periods of childhood, when they are most receptive to negative influences.

Closing date: 16 December
