Over the next year, the new theatre partners will produce 27 events, including workshops, discussions and debating sessions. The Theatre Royal, York, the Birmingham Rep and The Lyric, Hammersmith, are among the theatres taking part.
Jill Adamson, chief executive of NAYT, said: "The partnerships will mean that everyone will get access to events with-out having to travel out of their region."
